i signed into this journal today because i was thinking of all the people who cared about mer today and you are all included in that group. i have been sharing the things you've said with my mother and i feel blessed to be able to share these things with her and have her understand and enjoy them.
i wanted to let you all know (for some reason i just want you to know, it makes me feel connected) that she is being cremated and next year, on her birthday, we will scatter her ashes in las vegas. she loved las vegas and so that is where she will be. each year we plan to take a trip there to celebrate her life. so, if you're ever in vegas, take a walk down the strip and think of her. toast her with a midori sour and if you ever see a little cart that sells frozen drinks in a cup shaped like a bowling pin, buy one and see how much fun you can have! we sure did.
once again, i hope you all don't mind me posting here. it helps me feel connected to her in a different way than anything else. if you ever need to reach me if you have a question or something, my email is orangesliced@gmail.com. these next few days will be the tough ones as people around us continue on with their lives and we are left with the loss. we are also in that time where we keep saying, "this time last week we were doing this..." as the last time we all saw her was sunday. but we will make it through these days. i hope you all will too.
i have tried to track down what the password for everything community related might be because i would love to give that gift to you but so far, no luck. she didn't use her regular email address for the community so i haven't been able to get in. i know the journals you use do not matter, but i wish i could give that gift to all of you.
i hope you don't mind that i've still been stopping in. i just like to see the kind things you've said about her and the things you've said about her characters. her characters were he babies. she adored them and they drove her crazy. they were her outlet and you all helped create that place for them and for her. thank you.
